If you are not aware yet, we love the beach. I especially love the beach. Whether we are in the water swimming and playing around or just walking along the shore looking for shells, I love being at the beach! With summer being not too far off, I wanted to share my top beach picks with you.
Bathing Suit.
A good fitting swimsuit is at the top of the list! You have to have some kind of bathing suit to really get the whole beach experience. Bathing suits come in all sizes, shapes, and colors. Personally I love the OP mix n match ones from Walmart. They are $4-6 and I buy a few of each to have the ability to switch the whole look around whenever I want.
Sunscreen.
There are tons upon tons of sunscreen options. Different brands and SPF's. It doesn't matter if its roll on, rub on, or a simple spray....sunscreen is a must all year round and definitely during the summer.
Beach Bag.
Beach bags to hold all the essentials. The snacks, sunscreen, and shells you will find. You can easily grab a reusable shopping bag from your favorite stores. I know Publix has some cute ones and they change them throughout the season. Toys R Us, Michaels Crafts, and Walmart have them also. They are cheap and if they get too sandy you can always just trash them. Over sized bags are great if you are going with a decent number of people and need some extra space. We have tons of bags from all over and we keep a few in the back of the Durango, stocked with beach stuff.
Cover ups.
Cover ups are cute! Styles are varied, long and short, sleeves or none, fringe or see thru. I have a drawer full of cover ups. They are easy to maintain and easy to throw on. I love that there are so many options and you can buy them just about anywhere...Target, Amazon, Old Navy, Walmart, etc.
ALL things FUN!.
From beach toys like buckets and beach balls to tablets and rafts. These are all great things to grab when you are going out to the beach. Sit by the water and read a new book on your tablet. Float around on an oversized ice cream cone or donut. Play some beach volleyball or build a huge sandcastle.
What is on you must have beach list this summer?
